Round 1 – Menoth
Vindictus casts True Path and Defenders ward on the Exemplar Errants. Everything else runs forward.
Round 1 – Retribution
Helynna casts Rhythm of War and everyone else runs forward. The Dawnguard Sentinels make sure to pair up to increase their armor.
Round 2 – Menoth
Vindictus casts True Path, upkeeps Defenders Ward, and feats. The Exemplar Errants charge the Dawnguard Sentinels killing several. The Knight Exemplars on the right get just outside of the charge range of the Hydra. The Knight Exemplars on the left scoot up as well. The Choir sings Passage.
Round 2 – Retribution
Dawnguard Sentinels use Vengeance to kill the Exemplar Errants and move upfield. They then walk forward and attack the Knight Exemplars. Helynna upkeeps Rhythm of War. The heavy Warjacks shield her from a possible charge by the Reckoner. The Dawnguard Sentinels charge the Sanctifier killing it.
Round 3 – Menoth
The Knight Exemplars on the left wrap around the Dawnguard Sentinels to attempt to stop them from getting to Vindictus, and do no damage to them. The Knight Exemplars on the left do a decent amount of damage to the Griffon. The Reckoner charges to the Griffon and misses.
Vindictus casts Penitence on the right Knight Exemplar and Defenders Ward on the left group. The Choir and Mechanic create a barrier around Vindictus to protect him.
Round 3 – Retribution
Helynna gives the Phoenix max Focus and casts Hand of Fate on the Reckoner. The Phoenix charges the Reckoner and leaves enough boxes left for it to be fully functional. Dawnguard Sentinels take out most of the Knight Exemplars, but fall with them because of Penitence. The Hydra also clears out a few Knight Exemplars.
Round 4 – Menoth
Vindictus pays to upkeep Defenders Ward and Penitence. The Choir has one man step forward and put battle on the Reckoner, the rest form a wall in front of Vindictus. The Reckoner gets two Focus and takes down the Phoenix. The Knight Exemplar on the left take out the Griffon. The Knight Exemplar on the right swing at the Hydra.
Round 4 – Retribution
The photo was lost of this turn.
Helynna advances to finish off the Reckoner. The Hydra gets free strikes from the Knight Exemplars as it goes to clear out three from the other unit. The Dawnguard Sentinels fail to clear out any more Knight Exemplars.
Round 5 – Menoth
Vindictus pays to upkeep Defenders Ward and Penitence. The remaining Knight Exemplar take out all but the standard bearer of the Dawnguard Sentinels. The lone Choir charges Helynna because why not.
Round 5 – Retribution
Round 6 – Menoth
The last Knight Exemplar tries to take on the Hydra and fails.
Round 6 – Retribution
Helynna clears the area around her and the Hydra advances forward.
Round 7 – Menoth
Vindicus moves around the forest. The Choir stand still. Time is running low.
Round 7 – Retribution
Helynna backs out onto a hill. The Hydra advances to clear out the choir but only kills one.
Round 8 – Menoth
Vindictus runs away. With seconds left on Retribution’s clock to get to him.
Round 8 – Retribution
Clocked out.
Afterthoughts
Even though Menoth technically won, no one did.
